Lady Longhorns drop league match to Churchill CountyThe Battle Mountain High School girls soccer team hosted Churchill County in a Humboldt League match on Saturday. The Lady Longhorns, who are 0-8 in league play, lost 8-0 to the Greenwave, who scored six goals in the first 40 minutes of play. Battle Mountain was scheduled to travel to Spring Creek on Tuesday. Results were not available at press time. The Lady Longhorns make the short trip to Winnemucca Saturday to play Lowry at 1 p.m.
