The Battle Mountain Junior High School seventh- and eighth-grade girls basketball teams made the trip to Winnemucca on Saturday for the second round of Tri-County League play. The Shorthorns' eighth-grade team went 0-3 on the day with a 33-2 loss to Winnemucca, 41-22 to McDermitt and 25-11 to Pershing County.

Results were not available at press time. The Lady Longhorns make the short trip to Winnemucca Saturday to play Lowry at 1 p.m.
