Fajardo leads Blue to 20-7 win in Nevada's spring game

Wolf Pack opens season against UCLA 

RENO - In perhaps the best Silver and Blue Game in history, junior quarterback Cody Fajardo led the Blue team to a 20-7 win over the Silver team in front of nearly 5,000 fans at Mackay Stadium.

Lowry junior varsity softball team drops doubleheader to Carlin

The Lowry High School junior varsity softball team wrapped up its home portion of its schedule on Tuesday. The Lady Bucks hosted Carlin in a non-conference doubleheader with the Railroaders winning 15-0 in five innings in the opener and 3-2 in the nightcap. Lowry travels to Lovelock today for a doubleheader with Pershing County at 2 p.m. The Lady Bucks close out their season on Tuesday with a road trip to Wells. That doubleheader is set to start at noon.

Ladies Golf Club holds pro's posse tournament

WINNEMUCCA - Champoo Landt shot a low gross score of 96 to win the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club pro's posse tournament Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
