The Winnemucca Gold Rush girl’s 12U fast pitch softball team opened their 2018 summer season with a second place tournament victory in Elko on June 2-3.

On Friday night, racing cars of all classes tore up the Winnemucca Regional Raceway at the 1/3 mile oval dirt track on Jungo Road. The grandstands of 300 plus seats were packed with fans watching their favorite drivers and looking to see who would cross the finish line first and bring home the prizes.
