Alexander Jerome Kovis began his life on the first day of summer, June 21st, 1990, and he brought that warm summer day with him everywhere he went. He was a force that drew people in with his infectious smile and laughter. His smile was the definition of love, matched only by the goodness of his heart.
Roger Daniel Gee, 75, of Portage, Wis., passed away on June 25, 2013, in Battle Mountain, Nev., after a long battle with prostate cancer.

Max Joseph Rogers was born to Joseph R. Rogers and Irene Winn Kay on January 10, 1935, in Milford, Utah. He spent most of his childhood in Holliday, Utah, with his two stepsisters, Sandra Godwin and Meda Bateman.
Ricky passed away in Lovelock, Nev. He was preceded in death by his mother, Neoma, father, Robert F. Dyer, stepfather, John, brother Robert R. Dyer and his son Ricky Jr. He left behind his sisters Rhonda, Fran, Mary, Bea, Patricia, Johnna, Cecilia, Jeeney and brothers John Jr. and Allen; his children Paul, Michael and Deana, also his sister-in-law Alicia and his nephew Bobby and niece Alicia Renee, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and endearing friends Dave and Tanya.
Theodore Gerald Starr, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2013, at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno.
Jeffrey Neil Felton, age 65, of Winnemucca, lost his battle with cancer on July 8. Jeff was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on March 22, 1948, the son of the late Jerome and Daisy Felton. He graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 1966 and received a BS in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University, Potsdam, N.Y., in 1986.
Gordon William Schumacher died June 30, 2013, of natural causes. He is preceded in death by his wife Nicki and his father Albert and mother Opal, in-Laws Norman and Anna French, brothers-in-law Bob Yenney and Chuck Thompson, along with multiple aunts and uncles. He is survived by his sister Margaret Thompson, sons Albert (Annette), Andrew (Joanne), Gordy (Stacy), and Garrett. He is also survived by his grandchildren Alix O'Neill, William, Jacob, Patrick, Max, Morgan, and Madeline and four great-grandchildren.
Family, Faith, Friend, Football - this is what defined Tim Knight. He was a master storyteller and he lived life through those stories. He departed us way too soon on the morning of July 8 from a heart attack. His presence will be deeply missed.

William Buster Goodwin of Winnemucca, Nev., passed away on June 30, 2013, at Reno's Renown Hospital after a long struggle with diabetic problems. He is preceded in death by his parents "Bus" and Audrey Goodwin of San Luis Obispo, Calif. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Karen (Reinert) Goodwin, his son Jeff and daughter Bonnie of Hollister. He also had five grandchildren, Russel, Melissa, Justin, Erica and Regan and a sister, Mary Nordeen, of Sutherlin, Ore.
