WASHINGTON - Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that U.S. farmer, rancher and fishery cooperatives set records for sales, income and assets in 2012, buoyed by strong prices for grain, farm supplies and many other agricultural commodities.

Acreage reporting deadlines set for 2014

RENO - Nevada State USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director Clint Koble announced that producers now have until Jan. 15, 2014, to report crops that have a Nov. 15, 2013, or Dec. 15, 2013, reporting deadline without paying a late-file fee.
