Goal is improving birth outcomes in Nevada

CARSON CITY - Nevada was recently selected by the National Governors Association (NGA) to participate in the Learning Network on Improving Birth Outcomes. The Network assists states with their policies and practices relevant to improving birth outcomes, defined and measured by incidence of preterm births and infant mortality.

RENO - The University of Nevada, Reno College of Business has once again been ranked Top 25 in the country by Bloomberg Businessweek for its Part-time MBA program. Businessweek recognized the program, which ranked 24th overall, as No. 1 in academic quality with the highest program completion rate of 99 percent.

UNR's dietetic internship program and undergraduate dietetics program continue to meet national standards

RENO - The Dietetic Internship Program and the Undergraduate Dietetic Programs in the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources (CABNR) received renewal of their accreditation. Both programs underwent a standard 10-year reevaluation which included a site visit by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
