BATTLE MOUNTAIN - The Battle Mountain District, Mount Lewis Field Office is in the early planning stage for a proposed wild horse gather in the Diamond Complex (Diamond, Diamond Hills North and Diamond Hills South herd management areas) in early 2013.

BATTLE MOUNTAIN - After nearly four years of environmental reviews, state regulators have approved a Eureka-area molybdenum project's plans to control air emissions from its operations.

Ron Barney served as the guest speaker. In addition to the presentation of diplomas, Saturday's ceremony included a slide show, speeches, a presentation of scholarships and a presentation of roses.
