RENO - Rene Childs was named to the Nevada 4-H Hall of Fame at the Nevada 4-H Leaders Forum Awards Banquet March 10 in Reno. She was accompanied by Don, Neetra and Alec Childs, Frances Gandiaga, Torin Emard and Marianne Papa.
RENO - A total of 70 4-H Leaders, teen leaders and staff from around the state gathered in Reno March 9 - 10 for the 2012 Nevada 4-H Leaders Forum. "4-H Forever Green" was the theme.

BATTLE MOUNTAIN - A defendant in an alleged stabbing case appeared in the Austin Justice Court March 27 for a first appearance and a bail hearing, according to the court.Richard Alan Joyner's bail was kept at $50,000 and he was assigned to public defender Ted Herrera. As of March 29, Joyner remained in jail.
Art Clark III was out enjoying a recent sunny day walking the dog that he inherited from his son, Art Clark IV. Boss Dog is a purebred male pit bull, around 9 years old. The pair was spotted walking along Broad Street with Art Clark's wife, Cindi.
