Aaron Crutcher, age 35, faces felony and misdemeanor charges of invasion of the home, ex-felon possession of a firearm, assault with a deadly weapon, eluding where others may be endangered and reckless driving following an incident that led to his arrest in McDermitt on April 15, 2021. Crutcher was identified as a suspect following a Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigation in two separate home invasion incidents with use of a deadly weapon, battery with a deadly weapon and ex-felon in possession of a firearm in McDermitt on March 31, 2021. Crutcher allegedly entered two different residences by force and threatened the occupants with the use of a firearm, and discharged the firearm at one of the residences before fleeing.
