The Battle Mountain NNA swim team was in Carson City from Oct. 21-23 for the 2022 King of the Hill Challenge. King of the Hill is a 50-freestyle challenge throughout the meet this year there were 93 girls 93 boys ages 13 - 19 from 23 teams from Nevada and California.
The Battle Mountain High School football team closed out the regular season this past Thursday on the Nevada/Utah border with a 36-6 win over West Wendover.

The Lady Longhorns celebrated senior night this past Friday in what would be a familiar foe. Battle Mountain took on Incline and lost 25-23, 25-20, 27-25.

Freshman Eli Colver finished 11th with a time of 20 minutes, 39.03 seconds, with teammate and fellow freshman Sean Doney stopping the clock at 22:15.39 to place 18th.
Jenna Chopp shot a two-day total of 250 to lead the way for the Battle Mountain High School girls golf team at the NIAA 2A State Girls Golf Championships held at Ruby View Golf Course in Elko on Oct. 18-19.
Members of the Battle Mountain NNA swim team were in Roseville, Calif. for the California Capital Aquatics Spook-Tacular from Oct. 7-9. Nevaeh Serna was fourth in the girls 12 and under division in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2 minutes, 48.76 seconds, which was a 1.13-second improvement over her previous best time.
The Battle Mountain High School cross country team was in Wells this past Friday on the 3.1-mile course at Chimney Creek Golf Course. Junior Julian Sosa was 51st in the boys varsity race in a time of 25 minutes, 56 seconds.

The Battle Mountain High School girls soccer team dropped three matches in Northern 2A play last week. The Lady Longhorns hosted Pershing County on Wednesday, Oct. 12, and lost 2-0 to the Mustangs. The match was tied 0-0 at halftime, when Pershing County scored in the 58th minute.
