Battle Mountain 9-10 all stars drop two games at District 3 Tournament

The Battle Mountain 9-10 Little League All-Stars were in Spring Creek last week for the District 3 Tournament. Battle Mountain opened against host Ruby Mountain and was defeated. In an elimination game on Wednesday morning, Battle Mountain was knocked out of the tournament with a 17-5 loss to White Pine.

RPM Camp to be held July 27-29

Incoming BMHS freshmen and juniors need physicals

Incoming freshman and juniors to Battle Mountain High School are required to have a physical in order to participate in athletics for the 2015-16 season. Free physicals will be given at the clinic on Wednesday, July 22. Please call to schedule an appointment. The physical is good for the entire school year.

Battle Mountain track and field closes out season at state championships

The Battle Mountain High School track and field team made the long trip to Las Vegas for the NIAA State Track and Field Championships at Del Sol High School. DJ Potter won the Division III shot put and Blake Dorian was second in the triple jump. As a team, the Battle Mountain boys were seventh and the Lady Longhorns placed 11th.

Lady Longhorns finish season at state tourney in Las Vegas

After coming out of the regional tournament as the No. 4 seed, the Battle Mountain High School softball team reached the state tournament in Las Vegas at The Meadows School on May 21-22. The Lady Longhorns dropped both of its games to Lincoln County and White Pine.
