The Lowry High School junior varsity baseball team made its home debut Tuesday afternoon against Wells in a non-conference match-up. The Leopards broke open a close contest in the late innings to win 12-5. With the loss the Buckaroos dropped to 3-4 on the season. The Lowry High School softball team remained undefeated in the Division I-A North with a three-game sweep at Elko this past weekend.

Lowry junior varsity softball team knocks off Elko

Before the weather got nasty on Saturday, the Lowry High School junior varsity softball team held off Elko to beat the Indians 16-12 in game one of what was to be a doubleheader. The two rivals began the second game, but it was called off in the early innings due to rain. Lowry improved to 3-0 in the Division I-A North. Buckaroo JV baseball team drops doubleheader to Indians

The Lowry High School junior varsity baseball team played host to Elko on Saturday in a Division I-A North doubleheader. The Indians won game one 21-2 and the nightcap 17-5 as both teams dodged the rain. Game two was delayed for about 10 minutes but the schools were able to resume and finish the contest.
