Here we go with another year

Summer vacation is over and students in Humboldt County are finally back to school. With that comes the start of the fall sports season. It’s just the beginning, but here is a possibility of what to look forward to.

Aiding donation

Thanks to a generous donation from Newmont Mining Corporation through their Community Reinvestment Program, the Winnemucca Youth Football League received new first-aid kits. The donation paid for all of the new kits and supplies to restock them for several seasons of football. Athletes from left to right are Jake Bauman, Michael Casalez, Layne Welch, Sam Roth, Eric Warner and Matthew Casalez.
