Gov. Guinn Millennium Scholarship program good through at least 2018

CARSON CITY - State Treasurer Kate Marshall said Tuesday that the addition of $15 million to the Gov. Guinn Millennium Scholarship program (GGMS) during the 2013 legislative session will keep the program financially stable through at least the 2017-2018 school year.

Reno man arrested on suspicion of stealing mail after investigation

Suspect allegedly was seen stealing mail in Lovelock, officials said

WINNEMUCCA - James Stanley Fahlgren, 44, of Reno, was arrested last week at the Winnemucca post office on suspicion of forgery and burglary after a lengthy investigation by the Winnemucca Police Department involving stolen money orders and other mail.
