David Andrew Kinneberg passed away peacefully on Christmas morning in Carlsbad, Calif. David was born into a mining family on July 1, 1925 in Battle Mountain, Nev. Soon after graduating from high school, David entered the Army Corps of Engineers and served in the Western Pacific during WWII. He graduated from the University of Nevada in June 1950 with a BS in Metallurgical Engineering. In June 1970, he received his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.

Evelyn (Evy) Marcuerquiaga passed away on Feb. 6, 2014. Born 85 years ago to Pete and Julia Yrueta at the Martin Hotel, she was never far from Winnemucca. It has been six years since a head injury took Evy from her lifelong home, family and friends.

He was born on the Fort McDermitt Paiute/Shoshone Reservation on Jan. 26, 1926, to John Wasson and Ada Reed. Marrying Leona Abel, he made his home and raised his family in Fort McDermitt. Learning the trade of a Cement Mason he became a member of the Cement Masons & Plasters Local # 241 in Reno. He worked at various union jobs throughout the north state until his retirement.
