Edna King was born Oct. 11, 1951 and passed away on Dec. 30, 2013 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Edna was born in Troy, NY, and graduated from Berlin Central High School. Later in her life she moved to Battle Mountain with her family and that is where she made her home. Edna was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
A memorial and graveside service was held for Kim Ruiz, 48, at Lovelock Firehouse on Jan. 3, 2014 at Big Meadow Cemetery in Lovelock, Nev., with military honors by the War Veterans Memorial Association.
Bob North, husband of former Lovelock resident, Linda Patricio, died on December 28, 2013 in a hospital in Adelican, Michigan. He served in the Army during the Korean War and World War II during which he was severely wounded. He is survived by his wife Linda of Clinton, Michigan, step daughters Mary Ann Andrews, Linda May Pevvey, and grand daughter Marie of St. Augustine, Florida. Memorial services will be held for Bob at a later date.
