RENO - Following a national search and recruitment process, William "Bill" Payne joins the University of Nevada, Reno today as the new dean of the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources.

The Lander County School Board recognized Lyle Lemaire, of Lander Physical Therapy, for his donation of service and time to the Lander County students and staff.Board President Anna Penola mentioned that Lemaire is a Battle Mountain native, having very deep roots here. His grandmother, Eleanor Lemaire was ateacher in Battle Mountain and Eleanor Lemaire Elementary School was named for her.
