Eleanor Crutcher stays busy, promotes good health

WINNEMUCCA - Born to Eveylen and Irvin Crutcher on Dec. 1, 1940, on the Ft. McDermitt Indian Reservation, Eleanor Crutcher was brought into the world by a midwife who signed her birth certificate with a thumbprint.

Local family receives $5,000 to help with medical bills

The money was raised during the Wild Bunch's Dec. 14 "Keepers of Christmas" poker run for toys, which brought in nearly $7,000, toys for nearly 200 local children and food for the Winnemucca Food Bank.
