WINNEMUCCA - Humboldt General Hospital's Diabetes Support Group will discuss carbohydrates next week.

Local students star in magical journey that is 'Alice in Wonderland'

Lewis Carroll's fantastical tale of "Alice in Wonderland" was staged July 27 at Winnemucca Grammar School with local students and the Missoula Children's Theatre. This was the second production this summer with the MCT. The first was "Blackbeard the Pirate." According to Jean Kinney, hometown chairperson for Missoula Children's Theater, more than 50 children were involved in the production. Under the sponsorship of Northern Nevada Arts Council in Winnemucca, MCT conducts a week-long acting workshop for local children from first through 12th grade and has for the past nine years.
