Pirates, sailors and parrots on stage for 'Blackbeard the Pirate' at WGS

Local fans of live theater were treated to afternoon and evening performances of "Blackbeard the Pirate" on June 29 at Winnemucca Grammar School. The play, a local production with assistance from the Missoula Children's Theatre, revolved around the mystery of Blackbeard's treasure. Students performed the roles of pirates, sailors, mermaids, beach bums, parrots, crabs and even a crocoguy and crocogirl. The play was directed by Jennifer Wills.
