Man ordered prison and probation on multiple felonies

Francis Dominic Wemple, age 27, was ordered to serve 24-60 months prison time and complete a period of probation on three felony charges.  Wemple was arrested on November 1, 2019, on felony and gross misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine charges and felony burglary with a $20,000 bail. 

Man ordered to jail, probation on suspended prison sentence

Eric Michael Rekofke, age 35, was arrested on September 11, 2020, by the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of false imprisonment with a deadly weapon, aiming a firearm at another, drawing a deadly weapon in a threatening manner, ex-felon in possession of a firearm and convicted person failure to register. 

Two sentenced to jail on gross misdemeanors

Two individuals were recently ordered to serve jail time on gross misdemeanor charges after hearings in Sixth Judicial District Court before Judge Michael Montero.  Christopher Troy Knight, age 31, pleaded guilty to one count of gross misdemeanor conspiracy to escape in court last Tuesday at an arraignment hearing.

Three given probation on suspended sentences

Three defendants were given the opportunity to serve probation on suspended sentences for various charges by Judge Michael Montero in Sixth Judicial District Court last Tuesday.

Two men sent to prison on felony charges

Two men were recently ordered to serve prison sentences on felony charges after several probation violations following felony convictions.  Jesse Simpson was sent to carry out two 19-48 month prison sentences after admitting to probation violations.  Simpson was originally convicted of two felonies, grand larceny and obtaining money or goods under false pretenses in July 2017 and ordered to five years of probation and drug court on both cases on suspended 19-48 month sentences.
