Man given probation on firearm possession felony

Johnny D. McClerkin was recently ordered to a 24-month term of probation on a suspended 12-30 month prison sentence for an ex-felon in possession of a firearm category B felony charge.

Teen ordered to jail time, treatment on drug charges

Jared Hickman, age 19, was recently ordered to 364 days jail time and the completion of a substance abuse program and treatment following three category E felony possession of controlled substance charges.

Man ordered to jail on concealed weapon charge

Jeffery Scott Martin was recently ordered to carry out 364 days in jail on a gross misdemeanor offense of carrying a concealed weapon, a charge for which he was previously on a deferred sentence program.  At a probation violation hearing on August 24, 2021, Martin admitted to nine individual violations of his probation terms, including using controlled substances, not being employed or following the financial requirements of the program, including paying a $25 administrative assessment and $3 DNA collection fee.
