In the case of Estuardo Enrique Estrada Mejia, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Pursuant to negotiations, the complaint was amended to NRA 454.351, which was acknowledged by all parties. The defendant entered a No Contest plea. The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same. 

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140 with $450 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. The remaining $690 is to be paid by cash bail forfeiture. 


February 9

In the case of Zane Robert Bishop, charged with Resisting a Public Officer. 

Defendant entered a No Contest plea. The court canvassed and accepted the same. Pursuant to the global agreement, sentencing for this case is to run concurrent with associated case 23CR00332.

In the case of Zane Robert Bishop, charged  Battery. Defendant entered a Guilty plea to the amended charge. 

The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same. Pursuant to a Global Resolution, the court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140 with $540 suspended for one year, $150 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. The remaining $350 is to be paid by cash bail forfeiture. 


February 15

In the case of Jennifer Marie Andrews, charged with Domestic Battery – 1st. Pursuant to negotiations, DDA Wendy Maddox motioned to dismiss this case. Without objection from defense, the court granted the motion. Bond exonerated.


February 16

In the case of Jacob Lorenz Ento, charged with Domestic Battery. Pursuant to negotiations, as defendant entered his plea on different case, the county made motion to dismiss this case.


In the case of Ime Godinez, charged with, 1: Domestic Battery – 1st, 2: Battery. Pursuant to negotiations, the defendant entered a No Contest plea to count 2- Battery. 

The court accepted her plea and ruled as follows: Fined $1,140 and was given credit of $150 for one day time served, leaving a balance of $990 which was suspended on the condition of no new like violations of the law other than minor traffic offenses for a period of one year. County made motion to dismiss Count 1- Domestic Battery. Count 1 dismissed in open court.


In the case of Michaelen Burgess, charged with Domestic Battery. Pursuant to negotiations, the county amended the complaint. Defendant entered to a No Contest plea to the amended charge of Battery. Court accepted her plea and ruled as follows: Fined $1,140 and was given credit of $150 for one day time served, leaving a balance of $990. 

The court suspended  $490 on the condition of no like violations of the law other than minor traffic offenses for a period of one year, leaving a balance of $500. Defendant is to pay $50 monthly with the first payment due on May 1, 2024.


In the case of Kriston Joseph Carter, charged with Domestic Battery – 1st. Pursuant to negotiations, the county amended the complaint to Breach of Peace. Defendant entered a Guilty plea to amended charge. The court accepted his plea and ruled as follows: Fined $350 which were converted to six days jail and given credit for time served. 


February 20

In the case of Issaac Blake  Tiensvold, charged with, 1: Harrassment, 2: Injury to or Destruction of Property. Matter was discussed prior court. Pursuant to negotiations, defendant entered a Guilty plea to Count 2. DDA Steve Girardot motioned to dismiss Count 1. 

The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same. After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Count 2 Fined $1,140 with $150 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. The remaining $990 is to be paid by monthly payments of $100 beginning June 1, 2024. Bond exonerated. 


In the case of Alex Alizadeh, charged with Fail to Decrease Speed or Use Due Care Under Certain Conditions. DDA Steve Girardot discussed the matter off the record via telephone with defendant. 

Pursuant to negotiations, DDA dismissed the citation, county could not prove case  beyond a reasonable doubt.


In the case of Jade Butcher, charged with, 1: Trespass, 2: Petit Larceny. Defendant entered a No Contest plea to both counts. The court canvassed her plea and accepted the same. 

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $1,335 with $150 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. The remaining $1,185 is to be paid by cash bail forfeiture. 


February 22

In the case of Andrew Jarrett Balke-Pugh, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. A plea agreement in abstentia was previously filed and acknowledged by the court. Pursuant to the plea agreement, the complaint was amended to NRS 454.351 which was acknowledged by all parties. 

Defendant entered a No Contest plea to amended charge and was sentenced as follows: Fined $1,140 with $150 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. The remaining $990 is suspended for a period of one year on the condition of no further violations of the law other than minor traffic. Defendant is to continue treatment with proof provided to the court. Review hearing is set for May 23, 2024 at 8:12 a.m. to review status of continued treatment.


In the case of Ramiro Gutierrez, charged with Drugs Which May Not Be Introduced Into Interstate Commerce. A plea agreement in abstentia was previously filed and acknowledged by the court. Pursuant to the agreement, the defendant entered a No Contest Plea to NRS 454.351 and was sentenced as follows: Fined $1,140 with $150 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. The remaining $990 is suspended for a period of one year on the condition of no further violations of the law other than minor traffic.


In the case of Ramiro Gutierrez, charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Pursuant to the plea agreement in case 23CR00478, DDA Steve Girardot dismissed this case.


February 27

In the case of Christian Augustin Vertrees, charged with Animal Noise or Nuisance. Defendant entered a No Contest plea. The court accepted his plea and ruled as follows: Fined $75. Defendant will pay fine today.


In the case of Sharon Nicole Morfin, charged with, 1: Minor in Consumption/Possession, 2: Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. Pursuant to negotiations, defendant entered Guilty plea to both counts. The court canvassed and accepted her plea. DDA Wendy Maddox motioned to reduce the total fine amount for count 2 to $250, with count 1 to remain as is. 

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $605, to be paid in monthly payments of $50 beginning April 1, 2024.


In the case of Logan Samuel Sandvig, charged with, 1: Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, 2: Minor in Possession or Consumption of Alcohol. 

Pursuant to negotiation, defendant entered a Guilty plea to both counts. The court canvassed and accepted his plea. DDA Wendy Maddox motioned to reduce the total fine amount for count 1 to $250, with count 2 to remain as is. 

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $605, to be paid in monthly payments of $50 starting April 1, 2024.


In the case of Sabrina Notes, charged with Theft, <$650. The defendant previously entered a Guilty plea. The court canvassed and accepted plea. The county offered one exhibit which was marked and admitted without objection. After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Ordered $450 in restitution to be paid in monthly payments of $50 beginning April 1, 2024. Fined $1,140 to be paid by monthly payments of $40 to begin after restitution has been satisfied. Payments toward fines and fees to begin no later than December 1, 2024.

February 23

Basil Lee Hooper Jr., age 23, was arrested for, 1: Possession of Controlled Substance, 2: Trespass. Bail $5,195.


Christy Jo Hinch, age 46, was arrested for Other Jurisdiction Warrant. Bail $940.

Brian Tobb Webb, age 58, was arrested for, 1: Possession to Sell Controlled Substance, 2: Possession to Sell Drug Paraphernalia, 3: Open Alcoholic Beverage. Bail $25,195.


February 25

Fortin Kirkland, age 43, was arrested for, 1: DUI – 1st Offense, 2: Resisting Public Officer. Bail $2,280.


Francisco Valencia Echavarria, age 24, was arrested for DUI – 1st Offense. Bail $1,140.
