Humboldt General Hospital celebrates first baby of the new year: Meet Kinsley Reign

WINNEMUCCA — Humboldt General Hospital is delighted to announce the arrival of the first baby born in the new year, Kinsley Reign, born to proud parents Gracie Wells and Michael Beitman of Winnemucca.

Kinsley, a beautiful 7-pound baby girl measuring 19 inches, made her entrance into the world on Jan. 2, at 5:14 a.m. The parents, overjoyed by the birth of their daughter, came up with the name Kinsley Reign, which they feel is pretty and uniquely hers.

“We are thrilled to have the first baby of the new year, and we think it’s pretty awesome,” said Gracie Wells, Kinsley’s mother.

The delivering physician, Dr. Smith along with the dedicated and caring nursing staff, including Nurses Tiffany Andersen RNC and Janie Phillips, RN, provided exceptional support during the delivery process, ensuring a safe and joyful experience for both mother and baby.

Kinsley Reign is the first child of Gracie and Michael, adding an extra layer of significance to this special occasion. The extended family is equally elated, with paternal grandmother Jennifer Beitman and great-grandmother Kerry Murphy, as well as maternal grandparents Gavin Wells and Cricket Jensen, eagerly welcoming the newest member of the family.

“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Beitman and Wells families on the arrival of Kinsley Reign,” said JoAnn Casalez, spokesperson for Humboldt General Hospital. “This joyous occasion marks the beginning of a new chapter for the family, and we are honored to have played a part in welcoming the first baby of the new year at Humboldt General Hospital.”

The hospital staff is sending warm wishes and congratulations to the Beitman and Wells families as they embark on this exciting journey of parenthood.

A bountiful basket of goodies was provided to the new family from various businesses around the community.
