February 6

In the case of Nancy Mareli Lopez-Fuentes, charged with Domestic Battery – 1st. DDA Steve Girardot stated that there have been no further violations of the law, complying with the deferred agreement. Therefore, this case is dismissed. Bond exonerated. 


February 7

In the case of Shane Lee Keeling, charged with Domestic Battery. Motion to dismiss filed by the county, order signed dismissing case. 


In the case of Johnathan Robert Christophel, charged with Vicious/Dangerous/Aggressive Animal. Pursuant to the deferred agreement and compliance, DDA Wendy Maddox motioned to dismiss the citation. 

Without objection from the defendant, the court granted the motion.


In the case of Carlise Ruiz, charged with, 1: Dangerous or Vicious Dog, 2: Dog at Large. 

The state offered one exhibit which was admitted without objection. Due to compliance and proof provided, DDA Wendy Maddox dismissed the citation. 


February 7

In the case of Raquel Lee Moon, charged with, 1: Driving Cancelled/Suspended/Revoked, 2: Operating and Unregistered Vehicle. 

The state offered one exhibit which was marked and admitted without objection, per the request of the state. 

This exhibit will be sealed as confidential. Due to the defendant’s compliance and no new violations, DDA Wendy Maddox dismissed this case. Bond exonerated. 


February 8

In the case of Jackie Merlene Ball, charged with Violation of Temporary Protective Order Against Stalking or Harassment. Pursuant to negotiation, the criminal complaint was amended to NRS 33.100(1), Intentional Violation of Order, which was acknowledged by all parties. 

The defendant entered a Guilty plea to the amended charge. The court canvassed her plea and accepted the same. 

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140, with $150 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. 

The remaining $990 is to be paid by monthly payments of $50 to be rolled together with current payment plan. Bond exonerated. 


In the case of Estuardo Enrique Estrada Mejia, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Pursuant to negotiation, the complaint was amended to NRS 454.351, which was acknowledged by all parties. 

The defendant entered a No Contest plea. The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same. After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140, with $450 converted to jail time and given credit for time served.

The remaining $690 is to be paid by cash bail forfeiture. 


February 13

In the case of Levi Randall Egger, charged with Violation of a Temporary or Extended Restraining Order Issued Pursuant to the Provisions of NRS 33.017 et.seq. – 2 Counts. Victim was present to give impact statement. 

The county offered one exhibit which was marked and admitted without objection.

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $2,289, which was suspended for a period of six months on the condition of no new violations of the law other than minor traffic.


In the case of Damon Lange, charged with Driving w/ Suspended Driver’s License. Pursuant to negotiation discussed off the record, DA Kevin Pasquale amended the charge to NRS 483.550, Driving w/out Valid License, with the fine amount to remain as is. Defendant agreed to a monthly payment plan of $50 beginning April 1, 2024.

January 31

Zacery Alan Jeffs, age 38, was arrested for, 1: Trespassing, 2: Resisting a Public Officer. Bail $1,335.


February 2

Zachary Jernberg, age 32, was arrested for Batter. Bail $1,140.


Tanner Woodard, age 18, was arrested for Domestic Battery – 1st Offense, Simple. Bail $3,000.


Thomas Fuller, age 24, was arrested for Domestic Battery – 1st Offense, Simple. Bail $3,000. 


February 3

Aaron Cardinal, age 22, was arrested for, 1:  DUI – 1st, 2: Open Container. Bail $1,335.


Greg Shelley, age 33, was arrested for, 1: Driving w/ Revoked License, 2: Possession of Drugs & Paraphernalia, 3: No Interlock. Bail $6,635.


Gene Marr, age 35, was arrested for Violation of Temporary Protection Order. Bail $3,000.


Kristy Prevo, age 49, was arrested for Violation of Temporary Protection Order. Bail $3.000.


February 5

Michael James Keith, age 35, was arrested for Felony Warrant for 2 Counts of Sexual Assault on a Child Under 14 and 8 counts of Statutory Sexual Seduction. Bail $1,080,000.


February 7

Maria G. Kavanaugh, age 26, was arrested for Domestic Battery, 1st - Simple. Bail $3,000.


February 8

Hector Carrillo, age 31, was arrested for Violation of Conditions of OR Release. No Bail.


Stacey Craig, age 41, was arrested for Domestic Battery, 1st – Simple. Bail $3,000.


February 10

James Gentry, age 42, was arrested for DUI, 1st. Bail $1,140.


Austin Stockstill, age 26, was arrested for, 1: DUI – 1st, 2: Open Container. Bail $2,670.


February 12

David Lyons, age 60, was arrested for Prohibited Acts Violating Sex Offender Registration. Bail $5,000.
