January 29

In the case of Edgardo Torres-Cintron, charged with, 1: DUI – 1st Offense, 2: Driving in Excess of Posted Speed Zone, 3: Open Container. Translator was present. 

Defendant was informed of his rights and right to counsel, defendant waived his right and entered a Guilty plea to all 3 counts.

Defendant read and signed the DUI admonishment of rights. The court canvassed and accepted his pleas and ruled as follows: Count 1 – Sentenced to 30 days jail w/ 28 days stayed for a period of 1 year on the condition he serve 2 days. 

Credit given for time already served. Fined $585, to be paid by cash bail forfeiture. Online DUI School and Victim Impact Panel to be completed by April 1, 2024. Breath interlock device not ordered. Count 2 & 3 – Fined $555, to be paid by cash bail forfeiture. 


January 29

In the case of Juan Carlos Morneo Yanguez, charged with Operating Unregistered Vehicle, Trailer, or Semi Trailer. Matter was discussed off the record. Due to compliance, DDA Steve Girardot dismissed the citation.


January 30

In the case of Steven Lloyd Bache, charged with Assault. Pursuant to negotiation, DDA Steve Girardot amended the citation to NRS 203.010, which was acknowledged and accepted by all parties. 

The defendant entered a Guilty plea to the amended charge. 

The court canvassed and accepted his plea and ruled as follows: Fined $355, which were converted to jail time and given credit for time served. 


January 30

In the case of Stephen Bache, charged with, 1: No Dog License or Tag, 2: Exceed Number of Dogs Allowed on Premises w/o Proper Permit/License, 3: Dog Running at Large. DDA Steve Girardot discussed this matter with the defendant off the record. Due to compliance, the DA dismissed the citation. 


In the case of Kenneth Hurst, charged with Fictitious or Revoked Registration. Due to compliance, DDA Steve Girardot dismissed the citation w/out objection from defendant.


January 31

In the case of Gaylene Dick, charged with DUI – 1st Offense. Sentencing hearing held – Defendant entered a Guilty plea, read and signed the DUI admonishment and rights form, as it was not completed at previous hearing.

Defendant provided the court with an alcohol evaluation. The court canvassed and accepted her plea and ruled as follows: Sentenced to 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year on the condition defendant serve 2 days and was given credit for 1 day time served. 

The remaining day is to be completed by March 1, 2024. Fined $585 to be paid in monthly payments of $100 starting on or before April 1, 2024. DUI School and Victim Impact Panel ordered and given credit as defendant provided proof of completion for both.

Defendant was ordered to have the Breath Interlock Device for a period of 185 days and was given credit for 12 days. Bail is exonerated. 


In the case of Daniel Louis Smith, charged with Resisting a Public Officer. Sentencing Hearing Held – Defendant entered a Guilty plea on January 4, 2024.

The court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140, which was converted to 6 days jail time and given credit for 6 days time served. 


In the case of Adan Navarro Gomez, charged with Driving Revoked for DUI. 

The county amended the citation to Driving Suspended/Cancelled/Revoked. Defendant entered a No Contest plea to the amended charge.

The court ruled as follows: Fined $355, which were suspended on condition defendant complete his schooling and provide proof to the court. A review hearing is set for June 10, 2024 at 1:15pm.


February 1

In the case of Kelvin Deshawn Littrell, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. DDA Steve Girardot motioned for a one time dismissal. The court granted the motion w/out objection from defense.

Joseph Myers, age 63, was arrested for Violation of Probation or Condition of Suspended Sentence. No Bail.


January 25

Phillip Palmer, age 36, was arrested for Lewdness w/ a Minor under 14yo, following the investigation of a reported incident. Bail $250,000.


January 26

Cesar Benavides, age 40, was arrested for, 1: DUI, 2: DUI in Work Zone or Pedestrian Safety Zone. Bail $1,335.


January 27

Pedro Noe Avila-Camavena, age 43, was arrested for, 1: DUI, 2: Unsafe Lane Change. Bail $1,140.


January 28

Scott Lennon Schelling, age 24, was arrested for Driving w/ a Revoked License. Bail $355.


January 29

Marcus Phipps, age 29, was arrested for Driving w/ a Suspended License. Bail $355.


February 1

Cadence Pettis, age 18, was arrested for Domestic Battery. Bail $3,000.


February 2

Samantha Lowe, age 29, was arrested for Other Agency Warrant. Bail $2,500. Cash Only.
