Survey and webinar aimed toward helping owners find resources

The Nevada Small Business Development Center (Nevada SBDC) at the University of Nevada, Reno College of Business announces the Nevada Exporters Survey, a collaborative initiative that will connect Nevada businesses with organizations that provide exporting assistance.

Businesses that currently export products or services, are interested in expanding to other markets or are interested in exporting are encouraged to complete the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NVExporters

The Nevada Exporters Survey aims to assess and enhance Nevada’s exporting landscape by gathering valuable insights into the exporting activities of businesses across the state.

The information collected will enhance access to Nevada business resources and foster an environment conducive to business growth and international trade. Collected data may be utilized internally by the participating organizations, and none of the collected data will be shared publicly, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of participating businesses.

Launched in collaboration with the International Trade Administration’s U.S. Commercial Service, the Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA), the Nevada District Export Council (NV DEC), the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) and the Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Nevada, Reno’s College of Business, this comprehensive survey is intended to support Nevada businesses in expanding their global reach and maximizing their exporting success.

“The Nevada SBDC is proud to collaborate with federal and state experts to grow the exporting potential of Nevada businesses,” Winnie Dowling, Nevada SBDC state director, said. “The Nevada Exporters Survey will not only be valuable in assessing the current size and scope of Nevada’s exporting business community but will also connect these businesses directly to the exporting resources they need to succeed.”

In addition to the survey, Nevada SBDC also invites businesses and entrepreneurs to participate in a webinar about expanding in global markets. During the Exporter Webinar, scheduled for Feb. 7 at 10 a.m., experts will discuss available resources and services to help Nevada companies navigate the complexities of international trade. Interested individuals can register for the webinar online at https://nsbdc.ecenterdirect.com/events/4779
