Themes for, “Star Spangled Everything,” could include any symbols of American history such as the Statue of Liberty, the Bald Eagle, the Liberty Bell, Uncle Sam, Mount Rushmore, or our American Flag.

Let your imagination run wild while picking your costume as it could also be based on what it means to be an American, historical characters (Presidents, Rosa Parks, Rosie the Riveter, Buffalo Bill, Betsy Ross, Harriet Strong, The Wright Brothers, and Henry Ford), or any patriotic theme. The options are endless. All participants please meet to register for the parade at the Lovelock Depot on July 4th, at 9:30

a.m.

The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. Please, nothing bigger than a “child’s red wagon” or a small bike will be allowed in the parade. No live animals are allowed in the parade, for example, no cats, dogs, or ponies. Parents, please help your smaller children walk/travel in the parade if and when necessary.

The parade route will begin at the Lovelock Depot.

From the Depot the parade will proceed directly to the Courthouse. The parade will disband at the

lawn of the Courthouse, where the parade participants will receive a 50-cent piece and a popsicle while American Legion will have hot dogs available. Please contact Cattlewomen Colby Burke for more information (775) 842-8498.
