In the case of Richard Jay Malmstrom, charged with failure to yield left turn to opposing traffic. Due to compliance, DA Kevin Pasquale motioned no fines and fees be ordered to the defendant, court accepted.
April 6
In the case of Hugo Alfonso Lopez-Trujillo, charged with resisting a public officer. Defendant entered no contest plea and court accepted. Court Rules as follows: Fines in the total of $1,140. Defendant was given credit of $900 for 6 days time served with remaing $240 stayed for a period of one year on condition no like violations.
April 10
In the case of Charles David Lewis AKA Charles David, charged with two counts of harassment. Defendant had previously entered a guilty plea for both counts. Court canvassed and accepted his plea and ruled as follows: Count 1 - Fined $1,140, Count 2 – Fined $2,280, $1,630 suspended for a period of two years on the condition of no new like violations, $150 converted to jail time and given credit for timed served, the remaining $500 is to be paid in monthly payments of $50 beginning June 1, 2023. Bond exonerated.
