Unexpected high winds canceled the Frontier Community Coalition’s free family swim on Jun. 12. Hopefully, the winds die down by Monday, July 4, from 1 to 4 p.m.
That’s when the FCC has scheduled the next drug and alcohol-free family pool day. They promise prizes and fun.
On Saturday, June 25, Yerington’s Desert Fish Swim Team comes to Lovelock. The meet begins at 9 a.m.
To volunteer, contact Rowe at the community pool.
