WINNEMUCCA — The first baby of the new year at Humboldt General Hospital was welcomed on January 5 at 5:32 a.m. Freyja Wood weighed in at 5 lbs. 10 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. She was delivered by Dr. Conrad Roberson. Freyja was born to Natasha Hooper and Jarren Kubat of Winnemucca, and joins siblings Eevee Kimball and Osiris Kimball. To celebrate her birth, Freyja and her parents received gift baskets of items gathered by OB unit staff from HGH and other local businesses.
