On Saturday, Feb. 5, there were four games played in the Humboldt County Rural Basketball League.
The first game of the day was D1 Kings River vs. Orovada. The final score was 26-24, with Orovada collecting the win.
At 10 a.m., Paradise took on McDermitt, also in D1 action. The final score of that game was 2-15, with McDermitt winning. At 11 a.m. in D2 play, Paradise played against Orovada with a final score of 14-4. In the final game in D1, Paradise took on Kings River. Kings River started off strong, coming out in the lead. The game ended 30-19, with Kings River taking the victory.
Correction needed in last week’s write-up in the Orovada vs. McDermitt game. It should have read that Cooper Hoagland made the basket for Paradise in the first half and that Jaxson Morgan scored their second 2 points in the last half. Those were reversed in the original write-up.
