Bryn Echevarria shot a low-gross core of 69 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Pro’s Posse tournament held Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course. Melissa Murphy was second in the first flight at 71.
Lori Warnert led the way in the second flight at 81 and Di An Putnam (82) was second.
Gail Piquet had the fewest putts at 27 and Jerry Ann Fenkell, Piquet and Echevarria each had chip-ins.
Stephanie Crawford was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 21 feet, 11 inches and Murphy was closest on No. 5 at 10-1.
