The Lowry High School boys soccer team extended its winning streak to three matches with a pair of wins in Lyon County this past weekend.
Lowry traveled to Dayton on Friday and kept the Dust Devils winless on the season at 0-9, winning 6-1.
The Buckaroos built a 3-1 advantage over the Dust Devils in the first half and added three more goals in the final 40 minutes to finish off the scoring.
Lowry found itself in a tougher match on Saturday afternoon in Fernley.
The Vaqueros were coming off a 1-1 tie against Churchill County and had just one win on the season.
The Buckaroos led 2-1 at halftime, but the Vaqueros tied the match at 2-2 with 17 minutes to play.
Lowry avoided the upset loss with a late goal to move to 3-0 in the Northern 3A East and 3-9 overall.
Lowry hosted Spring Creek on Tuesday and results were not available at press time.
Lowry closes out the first half of the Northern 3A East schedule with a road trip to Elko on Saturday at 11:45 a.m.
The Buckaroos travel to Fallon on Thursday, Oct. 14, for a 3:45 p.m. match.
