Union Township Justice Court

Items in the Court Docket are compiled from public records contained in the Union Township Justice Court and the Sixth Judicial District Court. The Humboldt Sun reports all felony hearings, misdemeanor convictions and dismissals for which the court releases information. When requested by the individual, the Sun will post the person’s mug shot with their court disposition.

November 24

Misdemeanor charges of driving without a valid license and expiration and renewal of registration against Aryn Williams were dismissed by the court as proof was provided of the documents. A fee of $195 was paid on a misdemeanor obedience to traffic control device charge. 



Manuel Balcita III paid a citation in full for misdemeanor basic speed 1-10 over limit. 



A misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid driver’s license against Jared Carrica was dismissed as proof of a valid driver’s license was presented. 



November 29

Menno Ludovicus Derijk entered a guilty plea to misdemeanor failure to stop at a roadblock and paid the fine in full. 



November 30

Kendrick Bernal Sam pleaded guilty to count one: misdemeanor resisting a public officer and count two: battery. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment on count one and a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment on count two with fines and fees converted to 15 days jail and credit for 15 days time served. The defendant was ordered to have no contact with the victim for a period of one year and no alcohol or drugs unless prescribed by a physician for six months. 



Craig Michael Bennett pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of a drug which may not be introduced into interstate commerce, amended from an original possession of a controlled substance fee. The court ordered one day jail with credit given for one day time served.
