Commissioners will attend Sheriff Mike Allens’ “Town Hall” forum on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at the Winnemucca Convention Center West Hall, located at 50 W. Winnemucca Boulevard.
The Sheriff will address the public’s concerns regarding Nevada’s Legislative changes that have impacted laws related to firearms. There will be no call to order for this a meeting an no scheduled periods devoted to public comments directed at the commissioners as the commissioners will be attending as members of the public. It is anticipated that the meeting is for information purposes and to exchange ideas. However, the board of commissioners will not take any action at this meeting on any matter presented. It is unknown if a quorum will be present.
