On Sept. 12, the Regional Planning Commission recommended action on the following agenda items:
• The Commission approved a request from Kay Metsker to name an existing 30-foot-wide easement that runs along the west and south portion of Section 3, T37N, R34E, M.D.B.&M. for access to assessor’s parcel #05-0684-15.
The applicant is also naming access off Sod House Road traveling southwest to this section; Sod House Road traveling west than south to this section. Recommended names are Jefferson Road, Constitution Road, Valhalla Road and Freedom Trail.
• The Commission approved a request from Leon Johnson to name an existing 60-foot-wide easement running east from Barrett Springs Road for access to assessor’s parcel #10-0013-06. Recommended name is Durin Road.
• Approved the Site Plan Review application submitted by Karandeep Nagra to review a proposed 4- story, 77-room hotel. Subject property is located at 740 W. Winnemucca Boulevard; assessor’s parcel #15-0372-26.
