Carole Doughty showed a low gross score of 71 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club pro’s posse tournament held Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Di An Putnam was second in the first flight at 72 and Vicki Celio (73) was third.
Laurie Pickett led the way in the second flight at 77 and Jerry Ann Finkle was second at 81. Nedra Bosch (92) was third.
Doughty had the fewest putts and 32 and Kay Billingsley and Finkle each had a chip-in. Melissa Murphy was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 19 feet, 4 inches and Murphy was closest on No. 5 at 10-8.5.
