The Winnemucca Sports Complex was host to eight co-ed softball teams last Saturday to raise money for Quinton Guilbert’s battle against Leukemia. Guilbert is 14 years old and will be a freshman at Lowry High School in the fall. He travels to Reno weekly for treatments and the family needs help with all of the expenses. Dark Purple took home the title against Screw Leukemia in an extra inning game 10-8. TWP took third place and the Red Hot Potatoes finished fourth. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo location to the “Team Q Donation Fund.”
