On June 13, 2019, the Regional Planning Commission recommended action on the following agenda items:
• The Commission approved a request for Conditional Use Permit submitted by Giovanni and Shannon Giordano dba Giordano Ventures, LLC to allow a private, invitation only, shooting range to be located at South of Conservation Road off Spring River Road.
• The Commission approved submitted by Brandon Johnson with SCJ Alliance as agent for Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores, Inc.
The proposed plan includes a 12,750 square foot Love’s travel stop with gas/diesel service, store, and fast food restaurant.
The plan also includes a 10,400 square foot tire shop on approximately 68% of 15 acres of land. The property is located at 3550 West Winnemucca Boulevard.
• The Commission denied an Abandonment request submitted by James Garland for abandonment of on a portion of Stargate Road.
