It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Lee Payne announces his passing on May 12th, 2019 at the age of 54.
Tom Passed away at his home in Winnemucca.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Darlene; sisters Maggie Brackney, Kathi Huddleston, Linda Payne and brother Richard Payne.
Tom was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Victoria; father Albert; sisters Merry Ann and Elizabeth and brother Raymond.
He was born in Yerington Nevada where he spent most of his childhood until moving to Battle Mountain.
After graduating from Battle Mountain High School, Tom worked at several local mines including Eagle Picher, Midas and Hycroft.
Tom enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and hosting large barbecues at his home. He also liked playing Santa for friends and families children during the Christmas holidays.
A barbecue for family and friends will be held in his honor at Highland Park on June 15th between 1 and 3 pm.
