As part of the read aloud program, Humboldt County Library Technician Maria Arroyo (left), Northern Nevada Arts Council member Richard Dorman and treasurer Leann Barta dressed as characters from the time period of the book they are reading. Arroyo said they try to choose a different book each month and dress the part of the times for a book reading open to any members of the public to enjoy. Arroyo said the program is to promote literature as a family event.
