April 28 was the date of the Lincoln Highway Car Show, located in scenic Austin, Nev.
It was presented by the Alviso Roadsters car club and Austin Chamber of Commerce. It was a huge success with almost 70 cars registered. It was a fun-filled day with beautiful weather, a poker run viewing Austin’s historical sites, antique engine displays by Walt & Sheryl Curtis and Danny Thompson and the Inaugural Celebrity Mini Bike race.
There was also a barbecue lunch provided by the Austin Volunteer Fire Department, followed by country tunes by the Blanchard Family band.
Topping off the day were awards and raffle prizes presented by Jerry Foreman and Dee Helming.
