Timothy Joseph Naveran passed away on January 13, 2018 at the age of 52 after a long battle with ALS.
He was surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of his home in Winnemucca, Nv.
Tim was born on December 23, 1965, in Winnemucca to his loving parents Jim and Dorothy Naveran. Tim was the youngest of three boys.
He graduated from Battle Mountain High School in 1984 where he excelled academically and athletically. After graduation, he attended the University of Nevada, Reno. He continued his education at Palmer College West where he became a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1989.
Tim married Pam Nagel in 1994 and together had three wonderful children: Garrett, Payton and Dorsey.
Tim moved to Winnemucca over 20 years ago where he fell in love with the community and the people in it. On top of being a loving father and husband, as well as a passionate Chiropractor, Tim was a very active member in the community where he participated in the local Little League as well as the youth football and basketball leagues for many years. Tim coached each of his kids in just about every sport they played and by doing so he not only changed their lives, but also had a tremendous impact on many others.
Tim worked as a Chiropractor for a number of years before starting his own practice. Tim loved his career and having to part ways with it due to his illness was one of the most difficult things he ever had to do. Tim fought a long hard battle for over 10 years, inspiring many people along the way.
Tim is survived by his parents, Jim and Dorothy Naveran, his brothers, Jimmy and Ed Naveran, and his three kids, Garrett, Payton, and Dorsey, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10 a.m. and will be held at the Boys and Girls Club in Winnemucca. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tim’s life. In lieu of flowers, please make donations payable to the Joshua Rose Memorial Scholarship, 3289 Great Basin Avenue, Winnemucca, Nv or they can be brought to the service.
