The JV teams challenged Battle Mountain and Silver Stage this past week.

The ninth graders include Tim Fecht, Victor Flores, Jordan Gentry, Agustin Lopez, Dalton McNeff and Raul Rincon. Sebastien Donaldson, Jc Astle, Juan Jimenez Cruz, Aiden Osborne and Saul Valtierra are sophomores. The 11th graders include Sam Bokori and Eddie Happy. On Tuesday night, the JV boys fell to Battle Mountain (53-37). On Saturday the Lovelock boys beat Silver Stage by three hard-fought points (48-45).
Alex Graham coaches the JV girls. The freshman players include Pati Carapia, Senicka Happy, Connie Kersnowski and Hannah Stairwalt. Bianca Ayala, Leeann McNeff, Alyssa Montes, Daralyn Moura and Kate Rosas are sophomores. Lupe Parades represents the junior class.
In another buzzer beater, Lovelock overpowered Battle Mountain (27-24) on Tuesday. On Saturday Pershing's JV girls clipped the Lady Nighthawks (35-15).
