Michael Burghard Krocak of Las Vegas Nevada passed away unexpectedly at the age of 68. Born in Reno NV on October 22,1949 Michael was the only child of Burghard and Tina (Quilici) Krocak. Michael graduated from Pershing County High School in 1968 and attended UNR until he found his passion in real estate. Michael worked for many years in Lake Tahoe before moving to Hawaii as the Marketing Director for Hilton Resorts. Michael retired in 2008 and settled in Las Vegas.
No one was ever a stranger to Michael, he made friends wherever he went. His daily lunch group would meet at the local Denny’s where his crew described themselves as “Dennison’s”. Michael was an avid sportsman who loved to target shoot. On many weekends he would ride his Harley with his friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Birdie and Tina Krocak and is survived by his Uncle Julio and Aunt Mary Quilici, Aunt Angelina Shaden, Aunt Norma Hill, and Aunt Dru Quilici all of Lovelock, and Uncle Gino and Aunt Karen Quilici of Elko Nv, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A family memorial will be held at a later date. In memory of Michael donations can be made to the Lovelock animal Shelter at PO box 383 Lovelock NV 89419. Michael rescued his tabby cat “DC” several years ago and loved all animals.
