Lowry High School
Lowry students continuously go the extra mile for academics and athletics as well.
Our staff, as well as our students, all inspire and set great examples for the community. This month Lowry recognized five individuals spanning from freshmen to seniors as well as a staff member.
Taylor Henigin is a freshman who has come a long way by helping our Librarian, Mrs. Pam Bidart. She handles all of her daily library duties and responsibilities efficiently.
Christopher Esparza is a sophomore, he was recognized for going above and beyond in his academics. He is also a student-athlete. This means he misses school for events but even then his teachers say he does a great job in keeping up in everything. “Thank you for making our job the best,” one teacher has stated.
Rachel Metzker is a junior who is quite shy but when she steps up onto the stage she plays all her parts beautifully.
She participates in swing choir and serves as a role model.
Emmanuel Guillon is a senior. He is described as a definite choice for student of the month and a real go-getter. His attention to detail is incredible and he is very positive.
Lastly, our staff member of the month is our janitor Gerardo Zuniga. He is incredible.
He does his job very well and is always here to keep our school looking great. He often helps students whether it’s with a spill or opening lockers. He also makes sure to involve our special education students in helping around the school.
All of these individuals are just a few of Lowry’s best and brightest.
