Lowry’s kids will be busy next week – Homecoming is here once again and the school has activities planned for each day. Between Oct. 2 and Oct. 7, the school will host Powder Puff football and He-Man Volleyball, in addition to their scheduled sports games. Throughout the week, there will be Disney and Pixar-themed “dress-up days” and student leadership will hold lunchtime activities. The week will culminate in the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night.
The Homecoming football game will be held Friday night, against the Dayton High School Dust Devils. The freshman Buckaroos will play at 4:30 p.m. and the Varsity game will be held at 7 p.m. The last two games Lowry played against Dayton, in 2015 and 2016, were both victories for the Buckaroos.

Monday, Oct. 2:
Mickey vs. Minnie Day (boys in blue, girls in pink)
• Lunchtime activity — Pin the ears on Mickey Mouse
• Homecoming parade at 6 p.m. from Spare Time Bowling Center to the lower Lowry parking lot
• Powder Puff Football game at 7:30 p.m. (no charge)
Tuesday, Oct. 3:
Toy Story Day
• Lunchtime activity — Alien Shoot Out
• He-Man Volleyball at 6:30 p.m. ($2 entry fee)
Wednesday, Oct. 4:
Growing “UP” / Future Self Day
• Senior Sunrise at 5:45 a.m. on the football field
• Girls golf tournament at Home at 10 a.m.
• Lunchtime activity — Balloon pop
• Boys soccer at Spring Creek at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
• Girls soccer at Home vs Spring Creek at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
• Volleyball at Home vs. Spring Creek at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 5:
Inside Out Day
