Grass Valley Elementary School teachers spent time during their professional development day engaged in collaborative activities designed to help strengthen our learning community.
Staff worked together to update the school’s mission and vision statements to better reflect those of 21st century instructional leaders and developed their own learning principles and collective commitments to guide them in their mission, vision, and decision-making regarding curriculum planning and instruction.
At the end of the day, teachers left feeling empowered and confident that this will be a great year at Grass Valley Elementary.
The school welcomed many new staff members this year as well and is now home to the district’s Pre-K Program. Many new faces and exciting changes at Grass Valley during the 2017-18 school year. They’re looking forward to a terrific year working with students, parents, and the community to the educational experience at Grass Valley a success.
