CARSON CITY — Access to affordable dental care can sometimes be a challenge, but good oral health is essential to a child’s overall health. Nevada Health Centers offers oral healthcare to children in northern Nevada through the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile and will be in Winnemucca soon. We are thankful for partners such as the Winnemucca McDonald’s franchise for allowing us to park at their facility and help draw attention to the importance of good pediatric oral healthcare.
The Care Mobile is just like a brick and mortar facility, but on wheels! It is fully staffed with a dentist, a dental hygienist, dental assistants and office assistants. Services provided include: Restorative and preventive care, exams, cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, fillings, extractions, x-rays, and oral health education. Our staff focuses on treatment, education, prevention, and advocacy to children.

• Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 10 — 5:30 p.m. (closed 12 — 1 p.m. for lunch) at Winnemucca McDonald's 1930 W. Winnemucca Blvd.
• Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 7:30 — 5:30 p.m. (closed 12 — 1 p.m. for lunch) at Winnemucca McDonald's 1930 W. Winnemucca Blvd.
• Thursday, Nov. 9 from 7:30 — 3 p.m. (closed 12 — 1 p.m. for lunch) at Winnemucca McDonald's 1930 W. Winnemucca Blvd.
NVHC’s mission is to provide access to quality healthcare services throughout Nevada. We accept most dental insurance plans, Medicaid, and Nevada Check-up. A sliding fee scale is available for uninsured patients.
